1. Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy relates to personal information collected by the PRIDE Stores. It applies whenever you interact with us, including when you visit our stores, visit our website or use our App, enroll in or participate in our Loyalty Program, sign up for promotions, contests, surveys, or events, purchase products from our stores, or otherwise receive our services. If you are a job applicant or employee, your personal information is handled under a separate notice available upon request.
2. Definition of “Personal Information”
“Personal information” means any information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be associated with an identified or identifiable individual. This may include your name, contact details, email address, and information relating to your account with us. It may also include more technical information, but only when that information can identify you as an individual. Information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual is not treated as personal information under this Privacy Policy.
3. What Personal Information We Collect
We limit the collection of personal information to what is reasonably required to fulfill the purposes for which it is collected. The categories of personal information we may collect include:
•Identifiers and contact information— such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, account credentials, and online or device identifiers.
•Demographic information— such as date of birth, age, or gender, where relevant to a program or age-restricted product.
•Transactional and Loyalty Program information— such as your purchase history, the number and amount of transactions, store location, product information, date and time of purchase, payment method used, and rewards or promotional offers earned or redeemed.
•Payment information— such as credit or debit card numbers when you make purchases.
•Online activity— such as pages and offers viewed, click-throughs, email interactions, and IP address, where it can identify you as an individual.
•Geolocation information— such as approximate or, with your permission, precise location collected through our website or App.
•Audiovisual information— such as security camera footage in and around our stores and customer service call recordings.
•Other information you provide— such as feedback, survey responses, or contest entries.
4. How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in several ways:
A. Directly From You
We collect information you provide directly — for example, when you create an account, enroll in the Loyalty Program, make a purchase, contact customer service, enter a contest or survey, or sign up for our communications, whether in our stores, through our website or App, by mail, by email, or by telephone.
B. Automatically Through Technology
When you use our website or App, we and our service providers may collect information automatically through cookies, web beacons, pixels, software development kits, and similar technologies. With respect to our App, we may use the Identifier for Advertising (iOS) and the Google Advertising ID (Android). You can manage many of these technologies through your browser or device settings, though disabling them may affect certain features. See Section 9 for more detail.
C. From Technologies Used in Our Stores
We may collect personal information through technologies used in our stores, such as video surveillance for security and loss-prevention purposes.
D. From Business Partners and Other Third Parties
We may receive personal information from business partners with whom we offer co-branded products or programs, and from other third parties such as analytics providers, where permitted or required by applicable law.
5. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to provide our products, programs, and services, to operate and improve our business, to communicate with you, and as otherwise permitted or required by law. Specifically, we may use personal information to:
•Process your transactions, purchases, and returns;

• Comply with our legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
6. How We Share Personal Information
We may share your personal information within our corporate group and with selected third parties for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and in accordance with applicable law. We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information as follows:
• Within our corporate group —with our subsidiaries and affiliates for the purposes described above.
• With service providers —companies that perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data hosting, contest administration, marketing, and analytics. We require service providers to protect personal information and to use it only as necessary to perform their services.
• With business partners —where we jointly offer a product, program, or promotion, limited to the information necessary for that purpose.
• In a business transaction —in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale or transfer of assets, your personal information may be disclosed, subject to applicable law.
• For legal and protective reasons —where permitted or required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, our employees, or the public, including to comply with legal process or prevent fraud.
• With your consent —for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.
7. How We Manage Consent
By subscribing to our programs, products, and services, or by submitting information to us, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. In some cases your consent may be implied based on your action or inaction at the point of collection. We will generally obtain your consent before using personal information for a materially new purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, though doing so may limit our ability to provide certain products or services.
8. How You Can Change Your Privacy Choices
You have several options for managing your privacy preferences:
• Within your account —you can review and update certain preferences in your account or App settings, including requesting deletion of your App profile where that option is offered.
• Marketing communications —you can opt out of marketing emails by using the “unsubscribe” link in any such email, and opt out of marketing texts by following the instructions in the message. We may still send you non-marketing, transactional messages.
• Cookies and online tracking —you can adjust your browser or device settings, and use third-party opt-out tools such as those at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org.
9. How We Store and Safeguard Personal Information
We use a combination of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification, taking into account the sensitivity of the information. These measures include access controls on a need-to-know basis, encryption where appropriate, employee training, and contractual protections with our service providers. We retain personal information in accordance with our retention policies or as otherwise required or permitted by law, after which it is securely destroyed or de-identified. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a breach of the security of the system involving personal information, the PRIDE Stores will notify affected Illinois residents in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, consistent with the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (815 ILCS 530) and any other applicable law.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our products and services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If we learn that we have collected such information without the required consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes become effective when we post the revised version on our website and App. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice where required by law. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates when the policy was last updated. Your continued use of our products and services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
